The final piece for The Green Mile Opening Title Sequence before the sound effects are added

 

Backgrounds

We have decided to change our backgrounds as our previous ones looked to clean and crisp so we decided to make it look more dirty and add other elements so they wouldn't look bare they consist of many photographs to create one image like a photo montage. These are some of the backgrounds

 

 

 



Mouse Animations

So for the mouse animations we put together a test animation from the side, 

and from looking at it there needs to be more movement in the body, not just the legs

So we worked on the legs as well as the body and tail movements to produce a more realistic mouse animation

Working on Adobe After Effects.

Today I have been working on background scenes for Adobe After Effects. Real Photographs of a wall, floor and bars were used in these pictures. They were slightly edited on photoshop first.

 
This picture will be used in more than one scene. At the start and the end. The mouse will crawl out of it and later back in.

I'm not sure if this background wil be used but if it will be used it will also be in more than one scene.

 

 

 The last image isn't finished yet I still need to take a photograph of a door and add it in.

 

 

 

Working to the Animation

So to work towards the actual title sequence, we worked on the scenes, other than missing the mouse, which is represented by an orange ball

Scenes for the director, however we had difficulties deciding on which way it should read

And with the mouse the scenes are coming together

 



MIni Green Mile

The group has mostly only worked on 2D and digital work so I decided to make a model of a part of the Green Mile prison to make up for it.

 

 I painted the wooden boards with acrylics and then glued them together. After that I added wires as the bars of the prison.

Here I have both sides glued.

I then added a circuit with a little light bulb that looks similar to the one in the movie.

 

I will still make a little desk with chair and a little radio on it.

I took photographs of walls and floors for the project which might be later used on Adobe After Effects to create a 3D environment for the mouse to run in.
